Are seasonal tours available?

Yes, we offer spring tours in April and May and fall tours with the submission of an application.  Check online for more information .

Does Allen-Stevenson offer Financial Aid?

We do offer financial aid. Please visit Tuition & Financial Aid for more specific information.

Is there a birthdate requirement for Kindergarten?

Yes, boys must be 5 years old by September 1 for the year they begin Kindergarten—in other words, September 1, 2027, for this admissions season. Families of boys with summer birthdays should also consider Cornerstones, Allen-Stevenson's Transitional Kindergarten.

What is your sibling and legacy policy?

We are delighted that Allen-Stevenson alumni and families with school-age sons are interested in applying to the School. We encourage you to apply early to complete the admissions process, especially if you would like to be considered for “early notification,” in accordance with ISAAGNY policies.

What is the application fee?

The application fee is $75 and is waived if you are applying for Financial Aid.

Steps to Apply for Sibling and Legacy Candidates
  1. Complete the Parent Tour and Interview in the Spring before the Fall in which you will apply.
  2. Submit the application and $75 application fee* on Ravenna.
  3. Register for the applicant visit in the Fall on Ravenna.
  4. For applicants for Grades 5-8 applicants, submit results from the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE).
  5. Submit ISAAGNY School Report.
  6. For applicants for Grades 2-8 applicants, submit school reports for the last two years.
  7. Attend optional Admissions Events throughout the admissions season.
What are the predictable entry points?

Each year, we accept applications for Cornerstones (TK), Kindergarten, and Grade 6. Candidates applying for Grades 1–4, 5, and 7 should reach out to the Admissions Office at [email protected] before submitting an application.

What materials complete an application?

For Cornerstones (TK), Kindergarten, and Grade 1, an application, parent visit (interview and tour), applicant visit and assessment, and ISAAGNY Report complete the application. For Grades 2 through 8, an application, parent visit (interview and tour), applicant visit and assessment, school reports, ISAAGNY Recommendations, and ERB’s ISEE test scores complete the application.

  1. Submit the application and $75 application fee* on Ravenna.
  2. Once you have submitted an application, register for your Parent Tour, Parent Interview, and applicant visit on Ravenna.
  3. Submit the ISAAGNY School Report.
