Asian/South Asian Affinity Dinner Builds Connections, Celebrates Diversity

The Parents Association, along with the Community Life + Diversity (CL+D) Committee, hosted a dinner for families who identify as Asian or South Asian so they could mingle and enjoy dinner and conversation.
PA President Audrey Rasch welcomed everyone and discussed ways families can get involved in our community. Going around the room, people took turns introducing themselves, their children and grades. Later on in the evening, C+LD Committee Members, Sonia Sharma and Simran Singh facilitated a group activity in which parents shared their first concert experience which made everyone laugh and was a great conversation starter.

This gathering of families and faculty members was an excellent way to celebrate diversity at the School while creating a unique opportunity to grow deeper connections within the Allen-Stevenson community.
