A Halloween To Remember At Allen-Stevenson

On Wednesday, October 31, Allen-Stevenson participated in the annual East 78th Street Halloween stroll by passing out candy to hundreds of trick-or-treaters.
Spearheaded by our Development Team, over 1,000 bags of candy were stuffed by Middle School boys and distributed with the help of Upper School boys.  Robby the Unicorn was on hand to represent Allen-Stevenson – and posed for lots of photographs with children and parents alike.
“We cannot thank our East 78th Street community enough for their understanding, patience, and support during our building expansion,” says Director of Development Katy Duckworth-Schachter. “It was fun to socialize with our neighbors and marvel at all the costumes that walked by.”
Seeing as the candy ran out after a mere hour and a half, next year we’ll stuff 2,000 bags!
