Diversity Celebrated and Connections Made Over Dinner

On Friday, October 26, the Parents Association along with the Community Life + Diversity Committee hosted a dinner for Asian/South Asian families at Allen-Stevenson.
A-S families who identify as Asian or South Asian came together to welcome the new families while mingling with friends and enjoying a feast. The A-S boys and their siblings gathered for pizza and treats, then spent time playing supervised games on the third floor. After introducing themselves, A-S parents, as well as members from the faculty, the PA and the CL+D Committee engaged in a dynamic discussion.
This gathering of faculty members and families was a wonderful way to celebrate diversity at the School while creating a unique opportunity to grow deeper connections with other members of the Allen-Stevenson community. The boys, faculty, and families all enjoyed spending the evening together.

Allen-Stevenson’s distinctive “enlightened traditional” approach educates boys to become scholars and gentlemen.
