"A-Z Files" Highlights Original Work by Students

Allen-Stevenson’s Sixth Edition of the A-Z Files appeared at this year’s Book Fair in May.
The A-Z Files is a publication that features exemplary original work by A-S students and was designed to honor Zach Levy ’00.
“What more fitting way to honor the memory of a writer than to create a publication that highlights the writing of young people.  Zach Levy loved to write.  His love for words and stories lives on through the imagination of Allen-Stevenson boys,” said  English Teacher Pete Haarmann who played a significant role in the working with the boys and pulling together the publication.
“This year’s boys have produced another timeless edition. Our student representatives put out a call for diversity and asked their classmates to submit original works in foreign languages, which in turn fill a portion of the book,” said editors Kerim Eken ’00 and Jon Klebanoff ’00.
“The student effort is published alongside great submissions by several contributing alumnus and a very moving Foreword written by a graduating student, Holden Lipton,” added Kerim and Jon.
Special thanks go to the generous support of donors and the School.
