Music Album 2020-21

Allen-Stevenson instrumental students are enthusiastic musical performers. Every studio holds a yearly or biyearly recital, but often students are ready to share a piece at other times. Here we are showcasing a few recent performances.

  • Like chorus and orchestra concerts, recitals give boys at Allen-Stevenson performance opportunities to showcase what they have been working on in their instrumental lessons but in a more intimate setting.
  • Boys work all year in a one-on-one setting with their instrumental instructors to improve upon their technique, musicianship, and to learn major solo works.
  • Recitals give the boys an end goal to work towards in their instrumental lessons giving them the opportunity to perform with an accompanist for their families and friends.

Allen-Stevenson’s distinctive “enlightened traditional” approach educates boys to become scholars and gentlemen.
